​​​​Vision Loss Rehabilitation Alberta is committed to respecting and upholding your rights, and providing you with high-quality rehabilitation therapy to help you regain your independence, safety and mobility after a loss of sight.

You have the right to:

  • Be treated with respect and dignity
  • Receive comprehensive information and services in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Work with Vision Loss Rehabilitation Alberta's certified specialists to develop a personalized rehabilitation plan based upon your goals
  • Have opportunities to provide feedback about Vision Loss Rehabilitation Alberta and our services by using our online feedback form
  • Receive any information you request in the communication method and format you prefer​
  • Have your personal information kept confidential and secure

We also ask you to adhere to the following important 
responsibilities and requirements:

  • Use our contact form as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment; 24 hours' notice is requested
  • Prepare for and participate in your therapeutic appointments, and reinforce skills through ongoing practice
  • Tell Vision Loss Rehabilitation Alberta if your personal information changes
  • Provide a safe working environment for Vision Loss Rehabilitation Alberta specialists
  • Respect Vision Loss Rehabilitation Alberta specialists, property and equipment​​
